Carol Holdsworth, Volunteer Coordinator
Carol joined Dementia Adventure in October 2017 on a 12 month contract to cover Hayley’s maternity leave.
After many years in the private sector, working in Training and HR Management and running her own consultancy business, Carol took the decision to take a new and more rewarding challenge, becoming the Volunteer Coordinator with St Luke’s Hospice. During that time she realised the many benefits of volunteering to both the charity and their clients, as well as the volunteers themselves. Carol is passionate about making volunteering a rewarding experience for all involved.
Carol’s mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia in 2015 so she understands the journey that people living with dementia and their family travel. She is looking forward to supporting the volunteers and clients of Dementia Adventure and contributing to the valuable support that the organisation provides to so many people.
