Friday 18th January is the fourth Essex Dementia Day. There are currently over 20,000 people with dementia in Essex. The day aims to support people living with dementia and inform others who want to help. There are events being held across the county to offer real advice, support, information and fun! Events range from the ‘marketplace’ at County Hall to cream teas, tea dances, a choir and cooking advice. Download the events list.

We also offer supported holidays for people living with dementia and their families, plus we provide training and consultancy for organisations working with people with dementia.
As a charity, all our work is dependent on people like you. Do you want to want to help people with dementia get to live well? Why not consider getting involved with us? Volunteer on our of our supported dementia holidays. Hold a fundraising event for us. Do a sponsored challenge, or even leave a gift in your will. There are lots of fun ways to support our us to continue to support people living with dementia.
