Give in Celebration
Whether it’s your birthday, Christmas or even a wedding, asking for donations instead of gifts is an inspiring way for family and friends to mark your special occasion.
It’s easy to do, you can just set up a page to collect donations on JustGiving.
If you or your friends and family would like to donate by post, please make cheques payable to ‘Dementia Adventure’ and send them to us at:
Dementia Adventure, Unit 11 Old Park Farm, Main Road, Ford End, Essex CM3 1LN
It would be useful if you could include a covering letter containing your name and address, telephone number and the name of the person celebrating and a completed Gift Aid form (if applicable).
Give to Dementia Adventure when you sell an item on eBay.
You can donate between 10% and 100% of each item’s sale price. 100% of whatever you donate is passed on to us. Buyers can also choose to donate an additional amount to a charity of their choice at the checkout.
All you need to do is go to Ebay for Charity, search for Dementia Adventure and add them as a favourite. Happy buying!!
Donate Through Your Salary
Payroll Giving, also known as ‘Give As You Earn’, is a simple way to make regular, tax-free donations.
It’s a quick and easy way to donate to us. You just need to ask your Payroll or HR Department whether your company offers the scheme. If they do, you need to decide how much you would like to give each time you are paid.
The agreed amount is donated from your salary every month and sends it to us. There’s nothing more for you to do.
Your donation will be even bigger at no further cost to you, as the Government adds the tax on as an extra donation. So if you agree to give £5, if you are a basic rate tax payer you only pay £4—the taxman makes up the remaining £1.
