If you leave a gift in your will to Dementia Adventure you will support more people living with dementia to live healthier, more active and enjoyable lives.
The number of people living with dementia in the UK is set to rise to 1 million by 2025 and 2 million by 2051. In fact, someone develops the condition every three minutes.
After diagnosis, people often find that their life changes dramatically. They become isolated and often house-bound with little opportunity to take part in activities they once would have enjoyed. Dementia Adventure believe that, with the right support, people living with dementia can get outdoors, keep active and retain a sense of adventure in their lives.
We have trained thousands of individuals to think differently about dementia and enabled hundreds to enjoy a supported dementia holiday – making a huge difference to the physical, social and emotional well-being of people with dementia and their carers.
We’re not stopping there. We want to reach out and help even more people, but to do that we need support.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if, together, we could enable people living with dementia and their families, to enjoy more experiences and adventures out in nature?
Leaving a gift in your will to Dementia Adventure will enable us to create more adventures for people like Rachel and Bryan in our film. It’s easy to do. We are grateful for any amount – large or small and we can support you as much or as little as you wish.
