Location

The Peak District is a world of contrasting beauty and has just about any landscape you can imagine. There are sweeping views of fields in every direction, from the high, moorland plateaus in the north, to the steep-sided, deep dales and rolling green hills in the south. In the heart of it all are quaint villages, historic towns, rivers, springs, and caverns.

Accommodation

You will stay in five-star luxury in a beautiful two-storey barn conversion. Set in six acres of woodland and meadow, you’ll be surrounded by nature and tranquility.

As you walk the surroundings you’re bound to meet the free range chickens, and it’s worth a visit to the wildlife pond (please note this is unfenced).

There are a choice of bedrooms for you to choose from (subject to availability), including double and twin rooms. One room has a large wetroom for us, which may suit people with mobility considerations.

There is the option for a slightly larger “family” group on this holiday. Please call us to discuss.

Please note there are large cobblestones surrounding the property that may cause a problem for some mobility issues.

Facilities

  • Ensuite bedrooms with showers
  • Wetroom
  • Wifi
  • Washing machine
  • Games room with table tennis and pool table

Activities

You are spoilt for choice when it comes to finding things to do. There are hills, gorges, disused railway lines, rivers and woodlands encouraging us outside to connect with nature, as well as magnificent stately homes and their beautiful gardens, nostalgic tram rides and, of course, world famous Bakewell tarts!

Due to the continuing Covid-19 situation, we cannot confirm the itinerary until two weeks before your holiday.

Who is this holiday for?

  • People who would prefer a weekend break rather than a week’s holiday.
  • People who enjoy fresh air and beautiful countryside.
  • People with fair mobility as the property courtyard is large cobblestones.
  • People happy to share a holiday with 2 other “pairs” of holiday makers.

What is included?

The price you pay includes:

  • Three nights full board accommodation (lunch and dinner included on the first day; breakfast and lunch included on the last day).
  • Complimentary soft drinks, tea and coffee.
  • All activities and venue entrance charges.
  • Meals in cafes and pubs as part of the planned itinerary.
  • Transport during the holiday.
