Do you support someone living with dementia or know somebody who does?
If you are feeling isolated at this difficult time and need some encouragement or guidance to help you in your supportive role we are here to help.
We are running free online Dementia Support Sessions providing practical hints and tips to help you remain occupied and stay connected.
In each 2 hour session our qualified trainers cover:
– Understanding dementia and the common symptoms
– Continuing to see the person (not the condition)
– Strategies to overcome communication barriers
– Practical tips to connect with a person with dementia
– The benefits of contact with nature and the outdoors
– Information about other support available to you
Family and friends can connect online and join us from the comfort of their own homes. During these interactive live webinars you can ask qualified dementia trainers questions and connect with others in a similar situation.
The support sessions are free but booking a place is essential so you can receive the details you need to join the webinar.
This support is only made possible through donations including the player’s of the People’s Postcode Lottery. If you would like to make a donation to enable us to support more people with dementia at this critical time please click here.

Feedback from previous events:
This is something everyone living with a relative with dementia should attend.
I feel so much more positive leaving the session than when I walked through the door.
It’s made me feel less alone and more optimistic on this journey.
