In response to demand, we have developed a range of Online Training products that are suited to individuals and organisations. These programs are ideal for people who like to learn at their own pace or have a limited budget.
Our online training is delivered by our team of highly experienced trainers who deliver the training using recognised and secure web based software. Training delegates will receive digital training resources throughout the programs for their own use as and when they need it.
We offer standard ‘off the shelf’ training packages, but we can tailor any of our online training programs to suit the needs of your organisation.
Royal Voluntary Service
This is a short clip from the online training program – ‘Understanding Dementia’, that we produced for the Royal Voluntary Service. The project was based on our extremely popular ‘Thinking Differently About Dementia’ training.
This program has been designed to help the organisation’s staff and volunteers to understand dementia. It trains them to think differently about the condition and it equips them with the tools and knowledge to make a positive difference in the lives of people living with dementia.
The 1 hour training module is a mix of video, animation and graphics, including interviews and testimonials of people living with dementia.
Online Family Carers Events
Are you a family carer or supporting someone living with dementia? Do you want to know more about the condition and how to support your loved ones?
These free events are designed for family carers, informal carers and others supporting people living with dementia in an unpaid capacity. We have been running face to face sessions since 2016 and continue to do so, but there are many people unable to attend these so we are providing the opportunity to discuss and learn from the comfort of your own home.
There are a limited number of spaces available for professionals, please call the office if you are a professional and wish to attend on 01245 237548.
New dates and locations are being added all the time, please keep checking back.
